This blog attempts to chronicle some of the results that have been realized in this century underlined by technology and inspired by the desire to change the world for the better. From microfinancing, to education, to the environment, human rights, and public health, these are only some of the issues that we still need to address. In particular, this blog will especially emphasize those ventures that use technology as a catalyst for change.

Looking back at recent decades, and even years, it is incredible to see the progression that humanity has made. Welcome again to the beginning of history — to a world that is “flat,” with the ability to share knowledge, and to leverage on past research, as never before. History, particularly in the United States, has always focused on the power of the individual, of the ability of one person to make all the difference. And now in the information age, this possibility is more real, and more tangible, than ever.
